wool is the starting point - it is the best material for boot socks.
Merino wool is soft enough, warm enough, controls moisture perfectly,
breathes and cushions, and there is no smelly feet as there is with
pure polyester (plastic) socks. Heavy enough for winter.
Merino
wool boot socks from Norsewear are made for all round performance so
they have added elasticity, strength, and durability which includes
lycra and nylon, so they are reinforced and never fall down.
